The Ivy House

The Ivy House is a flexible event venue in Milwaukee's Fifth Ward, suited to organisers planning weddings, corporate and non-profit gatherings, and live music events. Its industrial character comes through in exposed cream city brick, while greenery, skylights and a glass garage door bring natural light into the main space. The result is a distinctive setting that can be styled to suit different occasions rather than a room with one fixed look.

For weddings, the venue offers an indoor ballroom and an ivy-covered outdoor patio, giving couples options for ceremonies, receptions and time outdoors. A private upstairs suite can be used for getting ready, and a separate Green Room provides a quiet place to prepare or take a break. The venue lists round and rectangular tables, wooden chairs and high-top cocktail tables among its included furniture. Organisers can ask the team about event-specific rates and arrangements.

The outdoor Fernweh Patio Bar extends the gathering space, with a leafy setting and a circular bar. The venue also provides alcoholic drinks through its own staff, with bartending planned according to guest numbers. For corporate and non-profit events, the team describes support for occasions such as keynote presentations and silent auctions, with sound equipment available throughout the venue. Concerts are another part of its programme, supported by an on-site audio technician and a professional sound system.

The Ivy House publishes preferred contacts for catering, décor hire, photography, flowers and planning, while Milwaukee Airwaves is its exclusive partner for DJ, lighting, photo booth and production services. This makes the space a practical base for organisers building an event with their own suppliers and programme.
