Betsy's Barn

Betsy's Barn is a rustic event venue in Portersville, Pennsylvania, set in the countryside near McConnell's Mill State Park. It is available for weddings and receptions, as well as other social celebrations, giving event planners a distinctive barn setting for gatherings of different sizes. The venue can accommodate up to 300 guests and offers around 7,000 square feet of event space across two levels.

The barn combines its traditional character with practical facilities for hosting guests. Features include exposed timber, a large covered wrap-around porch, a bar area, an open-air lounge, modern bathroom facilities and a glass-enclosed deck. These spaces give organisers options for arranging different parts of a celebration, from guest arrivals and drinks to dining and time outdoors. The covered areas also provide useful shelter if the weather changes.

Betsy's Barn publishes wedding packages and an event menu, helping couples and organisers explore arrangements for their celebration. The venue is not heated or air-conditioned, so planners should take its seasonal availability and the weather into account when choosing a date. The barn is used for social events from May through August, while autumn brings other seasonal activities to the farm. For larger weddings and celebrations, it offers a spacious, characterful setting with room for guests to gather, dine and socialise in one location.
