Rist Canyon Inn

Rist Canyon Inn is a historic wedding and event venue in Laporte, near Fort Collins, Colorado. Set on a rural property with mountain views, a creek, courtyards and open pasture, it offers a scenic setting for wedding ceremonies, receptions and other celebrations. The venue also welcomes corporate events, making it an option for organisers seeking a distinctive location outside the city.

Ceremonies can take place in the broad pasture, where mountain scenery, wooden benches and rustic fencing create a natural outdoor setting. The Bellvue Event Hall provides an indoor reception space for up to 100 guests, with oak flooring, an integrated dance area, custom lighting, a sound system, a projector and screen, and windows overlooking the courtyards. Outdoor patios and garden areas offer further space for guests to gather, dine or enjoy cocktails.

The site combines its event facilities with accommodation in a restored farmhouse and the White Pine Cabin. The farmhouse includes a kitchen, living and dining areas, bedrooms and a covered porch, while the cabin offers a kitchenette and a creek-side patio. The farmhouse suite is also available for overnight stays as part of event arrangements, and the property provides separate spaces for wedding preparations.

Rist Canyon Inn is suited to couples planning a countryside wedding with ceremony and reception options in one location, as well as organisers arranging a smaller corporate gathering. Located a short drive from Fort Collins, the property offers a quieter alternative to an urban venue while remaining accessible from nearby Northern Colorado communities. Organisers can contact the venue to arrange a visit and check date availability.
