The Manor on Main Street

The Manor on Main Street is a historic event venue in Alachua, Florida, available for weddings, private celebrations, social gatherings and business events. Set in a restored late-nineteenth-century manor in the town’s historic district, it offers organisers an alternative to a conventional function hall, with period character, named rooms and original architectural details.

The property has nine rooms that can be reserved in different combinations, or booked as a whole. Room options suit smaller occasions and gatherings, while the complete venue can host larger events. The business says it can accommodate around 200 guests across its indoor and outdoor areas, with event staff on site to assist. A kitchen, restrooms, foyer and rear parking are included with certain room bookings. Separate bridal and groom suites are available for wedding parties, and organisers may use their own licensed and insured suppliers.

The manor’s historic interiors and outdoor courtyard provide settings for wedding ceremonies and receptions, birthdays, anniversaries, showers, reunions and other private occasions. Its rooms can also be used for conferences, business meetings, training sessions, workshops and classes. Organisers can decorate the space to suit their event, and the venue can share suggestions for local suppliers. Alcohol is permitted for adult guests, with a preferred beverage supplier available to help with arrangements.

Located on Main Street in Alachua, the venue combines flexible room hire with the distinctive atmosphere of a restored heritage home. Event planners can choose a particular room or reserve the manor for a private occasion, depending on the event’s scale and requirements.
