Bungalow 626

Bungalow 626 is a private event venue in downtown Santa Barbara, set in a historic Craftsman bungalow close to State Street and the Funk Zone. Its intimate scale and residential character offer organisers an alternative to a conventional hotel or restaurant function room, with indoor and outdoor areas that can be used together for a gathering. The setting suits occasions where guests can relax, talk and enjoy a more personal atmosphere.

Organisers can consider the bungalow for business lunches, VIP dinners, cocktail receptions, rehearsal dinners, bachelor and bachelorette celebrations, brunches and wellness gatherings. Its flexible layout supports both seated meals and informal drinks, while the outdoor garden and patio provide room to extend an event beyond the interior. On-site furnishings, tables and chairs help make planning simpler, and the venue can accommodate event-specific arrangements subject to discussion.

Food is available through the venue’s associated catering business, Creative Services Catering, whose kitchen is on site. Organisers can discuss menus and service options to suit the occasion, guest list and budget. This connection gives hosts the option of arranging the venue and food together rather than sourcing a separate caterer. The team also serves events at other locations, though Bungalow 626 itself is the place to book when a private downtown setting is the priority.

The venue is suited to smaller private and corporate gatherings that benefit from a distinctive local setting and a blend of indoor comfort with outdoor space. Organisers can contact the team to discuss availability, event requirements, catering and a venue viewing by appointment.
