Winthrop Barn Theatre

Winthrop Barn Theatre is a flexible venue in Riverview, Florida, for organisers planning weddings, celebrations, community events and business gatherings. Its restored barn setting brings together four spaces: the main Barn, a brick Courtyard, Grandmother’s Park and the outdoor Square. Organisers can use the areas separately or combine them to shape an event with distinct places for guests to gather, dine and enjoy the occasion.

The indoor Barn has a 3,200-square-foot event area, together with an entrance foyer, bridal suite, groom’s room and accessible facilities. Its layout can be adapted for different occasions. Seated dinners can accommodate up to 200 guests, auditorium-style arrangements up to 250, and standing events up to 350. The room can host a wedding ceremony, drinks reception and dinner, or be set for meetings, conferences, performances and workshops.

Outdoor options add further flexibility. The Courtyard’s long brick walkway and adjoining lawn can be used for ceremonies, outdoor dining, drinks receptions and informal activities. Grandmother’s Park offers an enclosed garden setting with a gazebo, while the Square provides another open-air spot for ceremonies, mingling, children’s activities or food trucks.

The venue welcomes a broad range of bookings, including weddings, quinceañeras, graduations, proms, fundraisers, holiday parties, church gatherings and conferences. Its combination of indoor and outdoor settings suits organisers who want room to personalise the event rather than work within a single fixed layout. The team can arrange tours and discuss dates with prospective hosts, and non-profit organisations may enquire about available discounts.
