Fort McDowell Adventures

Fort McDowell Adventures offers event organisers two distinctive venues in the Sonoran Desert, within the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation and a short drive from Scottsdale. The spaces are available for weddings, corporate gatherings, family celebrations, reunions and retreats, with desert scenery and mountain views providing a strong sense of place.

La Puesta del Sol sits on a cactus-dotted mesa and features wide-ranging sunset views. Its flexible indoor and outdoor set-up includes retractable sidewalls, a stage, fire pits, a bar and open-air barbecue facilities. Rosa’s Ranch offers a more intimate, ranch-inspired setting with a covered reception area, fire pits, a wood-burning kiva and outdoor seating. Both venues can host large gatherings, and the team can discuss catering options with organisers.

The property also offers activities that can add an experience to a group programme. Depending on the occasion, guests can arrange guided horseback rides, cattle drives, wagon rides, Segway tours and cookouts. These options suit company outings and celebrations where organisers want to combine time together with an outdoor activity.

Event planners can contact the sales team to discuss a suitable venue, the kind of gathering they are planning and possible activities. The combination of dedicated event spaces and guided desert experiences makes the property a choice for organisers looking for a setting beyond a conventional meeting room or ballroom. Its two venues offer different atmospheres, from a broad mesa-top setting to a more intimate ranch environment.
