The Vortex Dome

The Vortex Dome is a distinctive event venue in downtown Los Angeles, set within the Los Angeles Center Studios complex. Its central space is a 360-degree immersive CineTheater, where projected visuals surround the audience and spatial sound helps create an unusual setting for gatherings and performances. The venue is available for private and public events, media shoots and creative presentations.

Organisers can consider the dome for corporate events, product introductions, VIP parties, screenings, workshops, presentations, performances and celebrations. Past formats hosted at the venue have included live music, dance, immersive theatre, poetry, meditation, film screenings and special release events. Its adaptable layout can support standing or seated audiences, as well as smaller dinner-style gatherings with a stage. The rooftop setting also offers views across the downtown Los Angeles skyline.

The venue’s immersive technology gives planners a way to build an event around 360-degree imagery, music and other visual content. It can also serve as a distinctive production location for filming and media projects. Additional areas in the Beaudry Building and its patio may be available to rent for events that need more space or different activity zones. Event parking is available in the studio’s parking structure, with guests checking in at the main gate before proceeding to the venue.

The Vortex Dome is suited to organisers seeking a memorable, technology-led location rather than a conventional function room. Planners can contact the venue to discuss a quote, arrange a tour and explore options for their event.
