Riata Ranch

Set among the rolling hills of Santa Margarita on California’s Central Coast, Riata Ranch offers a private rural setting for weddings, corporate retreats and personal celebrations. Its open grounds and varied event spaces give organisers a choice of backdrops, from outdoor ceremony areas with views across the surrounding countryside to a distinctive greenhouse reception space. The property also features a ranch house and a tipi event area, creating options for gatherings with different styles and needs.

Wedding packages can include event furnishings such as tables, chairs and ceremony benches, along with lighting, a bar area and access to preparation spaces for the wedding party. The greenhouse site has a catering kitchen, guest restrooms and parking, while the ranch house offers overnight accommodation for guests included in selected packages. Airstreams and a bunkhouse suite are available for wedding-party use during the day. Organisers can arrange a private visit by appointment to explore the spaces and discuss availability.

Beyond weddings, the ranch welcomes private parties, milestone celebrations and company retreats. Its grounds and facilities can also suit yoga retreats and team gatherings, with packages that may include lounge furniture, patio heaters, umbrellas and covered reception areas. Riata Ranch provides the setting and selected event amenities, while organisers work with their own professional planner and vendors for event coordination and catering. With its combination of secluded outdoor scenery, indoor reception space and accommodation, the venue can support celebrations that bring guests together over a weekend as well as shorter events.
