The Commonwealth Event Center

The Commonwealth Event Center is a flexible venue in Paducah, Kentucky, for weddings, corporate functions, nonprofit events and private celebrations. Set on more than 16 acres, the property combines indoor event rooms with outdoor grounds, a patio and a pond-side setting. Organisers can choose a space to suit the occasion, from a smaller gathering in the Patio Room to a large reception or presentation in the State Room.

The State Room has a stage, built-in bar, projector screens and sound and media equipment. It can seat up to 320 guests for a banquet or 550 in a theatre-style layout. The adjoining Patio Room offers a more intimate option, with seating for up to 65 banquet guests, and can connect with the State Room for larger gatherings. Tables and chairs are included in room rentals, and the venue also provides parking, a covered drop-off area and access to a commercial kitchen for approved caterers.

Weddings are a central part of the venue’s offering. Packages can include separate ceremony and reception rooms, an outdoor ceremony area, getting-ready suites, tables and chairs, set-up support and planning and coordination. The venue also offers in-house bar service, with customisable options for hosted or cash bars. It does not provide in-house catering, so couples and other organisers select a caterer from its approved list. Planning, floral design and décor services are also available through its affiliated event-planning team. For corporate and social events, the venue can accommodate meetings, fundraisers, luncheons, galas, birthdays, reunions and other gatherings.
