Ramsbottom Civic Hall

Ramsbottom Civic Hall is a hireable venue in the market town of Ramsbottom, offering two flexible rooms for weddings, family celebrations, parties, community gatherings and business events. Organisers can choose the larger Main Hall or the more intimate Holcombe Room, and both spaces can be arranged in different layouts to suit the occasion, from a seated dinner or dance to a meeting or presentation.

The Main Hall has an open platform stage and access to the bar, kitchen, garden and Holcombe Room. It can accommodate wedding breakfasts and receptions for around 150 guests. The Holcombe Room is suited to smaller celebrations, corporate events and wedding ceremonies, with space for ceremonies of up to 60 guests. An adjoining garden provides an outdoor spot for guests to gather and for wedding photographs.

Room hire includes Wi-Fi, a projector and screen, and an in-house PA system. The venue also offers stage lighting and can provide additional presentation equipment and practical support. Organisers can ask for advice on room layouts, and the spaces can be booked for one-off events or recurring club and group sessions.

A kitchen and licensed bar area can be hired alongside a room. The hall does not provide its own catering or bar service, so organisers can book external suppliers or arrange their own, subject to the venue’s requirements. The central Ramsbottom location is close to the local railway station and bus stops, with parking available behind the hall. Booking enquiries are handled by Bury Council’s venue team.
