Schapen de baas organizes sheep herding workshops for teams and groups in the dunes near Heemskerk. The activity combines being outdoors with practical exercises in teamwork, communication, and leadership. Participants first observe how a handler and a Border Collie direct the sheep. Afterwards, they get to work with the flock themselves, without a dog. The exercises reveal how people react, attune, and handle different roles within a group.

The workshop is suitable as a team outing or as part of a training or meeting day. Participants not only learn how sheep herding works, but are also given the opportunity to reflect on their own approach and collaboration with colleagues. The setting in the dune landscape gives the activity a relaxed, active approach, with room for fun and conversation.

The reception and wrap-up take place at Gasterij Kruisberg. Organizers can combine the workshop with coffee, tea, or a drink. Upon request, there are also options for snacks, lunch, a walk, or other activities in nature. The workshop lasts approximately two hours and can be included in a more extensive program for a team day. In this way, Schapen de baas offers a concrete outdoor activity for companies and groups looking to experience something together while simultaneously exploring their interpersonal communication.
