Balver Höhle

Helle 2, 58802 Balve, Germany

The Balve Cave in Balve is an exceptional location for event organizers seeking an impressive setting for culture, music, and large gatherings. The natural rock hall combines a striking backdrop with space for a wide variety of event formats, including concerts, theatrical performances, festivals, celebrations, markets, and other public or private events.

Depending on the occasion, the space can be used with different seating and layout plans. The published options range from a studio format for around 420 people to configurations for more than 2,000 guests. Layouts for concerts, choir performances, theater, festivals, and shooting festivals are also available. This allows organizers to adapt the space planning to the audience, program, and schedule.

The cave is rented out to event organizers on a daily basis. The St. Sebastian Balve Shooting Club is responsible for the rental and management. Technical equipment such as lighting, radiant heaters, and power outlets are part of the venue's infrastructure. Stages and seating are planned according to the specific format of each event. In addition to its unique natural setting, the cave's long history as a cultural venue is a defining characteristic of the location.

Whether it's a music event, stage show, seasonal festival, or community celebration, the Balver Cave offers organizers a unique venue with flexible usage options and capacities for both small and very large audiences. Those interested can discuss availability and suitable room layouts directly with the venue owner.
