The Firehouse

Set in a historic former firehouse in downtown Goldsboro, The Firehouse offers a characterful setting for weddings, receptions and other celebrations. Its event spaces bring together an indoor hall, a private outdoor area and a rooftop lounge, giving organisers several options for ceremonies, dining and drinks. The layout can be adapted to suit different parts of the day, including a rooftop or outdoor cocktail hour while the indoor room is prepared for a reception.

Wedding packages include access to the venue’s indoor and outdoor areas, the rooftop lounge and bar, a prep kitchen for caterers, and separate bridal and groom suites. Tables, chairs, patio furniture, string lighting and uplighting are also available, along with venue staff, post-event clean-up and a list of preferred local suppliers. Bar packages can be arranged through the venue. Organisers can ask about custom elopement options, weekday rates and additional access for decorating or rehearsals.

The venue also welcomes birthdays, showers, reunions and corporate gatherings, as well as photo shoots. Capacity depends on the spaces selected and the event layout. The website lists arrangements for indoor ceremonies of up to 200 guests, rooftop ceremonies for up to 150, and outdoor events for as many as 225 when conditions allow.
