Convolo Event Space

Convolo Event Space is a bookable, small-scale venue in downtown Sioux Falls for organisers planning weddings, private celebrations and business gatherings. The flexible space is offered for self-hosted events, so organisers can shape the occasion and bring in their preferred caterer or provide their own food. Beer and wine may also be served under the venue’s stated conditions.

The venue suits intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal and baby showers, birthdays, graduation parties, holiday gatherings and family reunions. For business organisers, it can host meetings, workshops, seminars, company happy hours and other off-site functions. The main room accommodates more than 80 seated guests, with layouts to suit different group sizes and event formats.

Tables and chairs are included with the rental, and the space also has a sound system, Wi-Fi, kitchen sink and fridge access, on-site toilets and outdoor areas. Linens, backdrops and audio or technology items can be added, alongside optional help with arranging tables and chairs, clearing them afterwards or post-event clean-up. An attached suite is available as an extra, offering a private space for wedding preparations, breakout sessions or event storage.

The venue is available to rent throughout the week, with booking periods and minimum rental times varying by day. Organisers can request a date and receive a contract and invoice to confirm their booking. Downtown parking options include a shared lot, nearby street parking and a parking garage. Convolo’s current location is on East 8th Street, a short distance from its former address.
