LaVela

LaVela is a dedicated event venue in Wichita, Kansas, providing a flexible setting for weddings, corporate functions, private celebrations and special occasions. The venue can accommodate gatherings from approximately 50 to 300 guests, with layouts adapted for dinners, receptions, dancing, seminars, vendor fairs, award ceremonies, holiday parties and other organised events.

Event organisers can work with LaVela’s venue team on floor plans, menus, timelines and practical arrangements. The space includes tables, chairs, linens, configurable lighting, Wi-Fi, an in-house sound system, a projector, microphone and podium facilities, televisions for presentations, private rooms and on-site parking. Private suites are also available for event preparation and staging.

Food and drink are central to the offering. LaVela’s in-house kitchen provides breakfast, lunch, appetisers, buffets, plated meals, themed dinners, desserts and children’s menus. Menu choices include American classics, barbecue, Italian dishes, Mexican-inspired options, seafood, elegant dinner selections and custom requests. The team can also provide hosted, limited or cash bar services, along with selected wines, beers, spirits, punch and signature cocktails.

For weddings and social celebrations, LaVela offers venue coordination, event set-up and breakdown, catering, bar service and décor assistance. The venue also provides off-site catering for events held at homes, offices or other locations around the Wichita area. Organisers can choose from drop-off, limited-service or full-service catering, with additional options such as table service, linens, desserts, cake cutting and tables and chairs. Tours and booking consultations are available by appointment.
