The Corinthian Ballroom

The Corinthian Ballroom is a historic event venue in the heart of Downtown Roanoke, Virginia, offering an elegant setting for weddings, corporate gatherings, private celebrations, dinners, ceremonies and receptions. Housed within the upper floors of a former Masonic Lodge dating from 1911, the venue combines period character with flexible spaces that can be arranged around the organiser’s plans.

The third-floor ballroom covers approximately 3,000 square feet and features detailed chandeliers, a stage and space suited to ceremonies, cocktail receptions, dinner service and live entertainment. The fourth-floor grand ballroom provides a further 2,800 square feet, with tall Corinthian-style pillars and access to a balcony overlooking the room. Organisers can hire one event space or combine the floors for larger occasions, with total capacity of up to 400 guests across the building. Each floor can accommodate up to 200 people, while seated dinners generally suit between 115 and 150 guests per space.

The venue offers a dedicated wedding package covering ceremony and reception use, access across several days, tables, gold Chiavari chairs, venue staff, lift operation, setup and breakdown, cleaning and waste removal. Clients may also bring their own suppliers, subject to insurance requirements, making the venue suitable for planners who want control over catering, styling, entertainment and production.
