Pickett Place

Pickett Place is a historic event venue in downtown Florence, Alabama, created for couples, families, companies and organisers looking for a distinctive setting. Dating from 1833, the property combines period character with practical facilities for weddings, receptions and a range of private or corporate gatherings.

The venue offers several ways to host a ceremony, including indoor celebrations, front porch ceremonies and outdoor ceremonies. The historic home includes bridal suites, a groom’s suite, two full kitchens, a bar and an attached venue hall with two connected courtyards. These spaces give organisers flexibility when planning ceremonies, drinks receptions, seated meals, parties and photographs in one location.

Pickett Place can accommodate up to 150 guests for an indoor ceremony, 100 guests on the front porch and 200 guests outdoors, with a total property capacity of approximately 250 people. Event equipment includes white resin chairs, rose gold chiavari chairs, round tables, rectangular tables and cocktail tables. Vintage china is also available for hire.

The venue’s services cover weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, showers, proms, holiday parties and corporate meetings. An owner or site manager is available to provide private tours and assist with planning.
