Plaza Juarez is a distinctive outdoor event venue within La Villita Historic Arts Village in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Set beside the River Walk and close to the Henry B. González Convention Centre, the plaza gives organisers a memorable historic setting for celebrations, receptions and public or private occasions.

The venue features a deep-set, tiled outdoor space with an integrated stage and concession area. Its layout works well for dancing, dining, live music, performances and informal gatherings. Plaza Juarez can accommodate up to 300 guests for seated events or as many as 500 people for a reception-style format, making it suitable for both intimate celebrations and larger programmes.

Event organisers can consider the venue for weddings, quinceañeras, birthday parties, corporate receptions, cultural celebrations, concerts and dance performances. The surrounding La Villita setting adds character through restored historic architecture, shaded outdoor areas, artisan shops, galleries and dining options. Plaza Juarez is available for private hire through La Villita’s venue reservation process. Organisers can bring in their own caterer, vendors, décor and event equipment, subject to the venue’s rules and required insurance arrangements. Optional tables and chairs are available, while tenting can be considered for suitable events. A minimum lead time of 60 days applies, and the venue team supports organisers with booking requirements, event diagrams, vendor information and site coordination.
