Dupre Catering & Events

302 at Senate’s End is a charming small event venue in downtown Columbia, South Carolina, designed for intimate weddings, private celebrations and selected social gatherings. Located close to the Congaree River, the venue combines a rustic indoor setting with a covered outdoor patio and attractive natural surroundings, giving organisers flexibility for ceremonies, receptions and photographs.

The indoor space accommodates up to 30 seated guests or around 60 people for a reception-style event. Its exposed wood ceiling, open rolling doors and warm character create a relaxed setting that works well for wedding breakfasts, cocktail receptions, rehearsal dinners, anniversaries and small corporate occasions. The covered patio overlooks the river and includes a wedding arbor, making it suitable for an outdoor ceremony or drinks reception. A private bridal suite is also available for wedding preparations.

Organisers can hire 302 Senate on its own or combine it with the 302 Wedding Garden and bridal suite for a fuller wedding experience. The venue includes tables, cocktail tables and padded chairs, together with room set-up and breakdown, helping reduce the amount of external coordination required. A service bar is available for event use.

Food and catering are provided exclusively by Dupre Catering & Events, the family-owned catering company behind the Senate’s End property. Menus cover weddings, business events, family celebrations and other gatherings, with full-service catering available on site. The experienced team can support planning with food service, event staffing and venue coordination, while organisers retain a welcoming, personal setting for smaller occasions. Venue tours are available by appointment.
