The Barn at Stratford

The Barn at Stratford is a distinctive event venue in Delaware, Ohio, set within six acres of a historic pioneer homestead. Its centrepiece is an authentic stone-end barn built in 1848, offering event organisers a memorable setting with exposed beams, original windows, stone walls and a warm rustic atmosphere.

The venue is suitable for a wide range of occasions, including wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, cultural celebrations, corporate meetings, company retreats, training sessions, fundraisers, community gatherings, graduation parties, anniversaries, family reunions and celebrations of life. The climate-controlled barn gallery covers approximately 3,700 square feet and can accommodate up to 175 guests for a seated dinner or up to 225 guests for meetings and cocktail-style events.

Facilities include tables and chairs, bistro lighting, guest Wi-Fi, a wireless microphone and speaker system, video projection equipment, a screen and computer connections. A raised stage can be used for a top table, entertainment, presentations or exhibitions, while a separate gallery area can accommodate a bar, photo booth, screening space or relaxed seating. The venue also provides catering preparation facilities and optional table linen services.

Outside, organisers can make use of manicured lawns, a gazebo and attractive grounds for ceremonies, photographs, tents and outdoor gatherings. Ample parking and parking assistance are available for guests. The venue works with organisers, planners and selected event service partners, including caterers, beverage specialists, florists, entertainers and other suppliers. Operated by the Delaware County Historical Society, bookings also contribute to the preservation and education work connected with this important local landmark.
