Turner Conference Center

Turner Conference Center is an adaptable event venue located within Camp Hugh Taylor Birch in Yellow Springs, Ohio. The centre provides a practical setting for conferences, meetings, weddings, group gatherings and overnight programmes, surrounded by the woodland landscape of a large outdoor camp facility.

The venue can seat up to 150 guests and includes approximately 60 sleeping places, making it suitable for organisers planning residential meetings, retreats, training sessions and multi-day group activities. Accommodation is provided without bunks or cots, although cots can be hired separately. The building is heated and air conditioned, allowing it to be used throughout the year.

Facilities include full restroom provision, a kitchen, wireless internet access and audiovisual equipment for presentations, talks and organised programmes. Large porches provide additional covered outdoor space, while an outdoor fire pit offers a relaxed area for informal gatherings when appropriate. The building is also accessible for guests with mobility requirements and benefits from convenient access from the main car park.

Turner Conference Center is part of Camp Hugh Taylor Birch, a 440-acre woodland property used by scouting and non-scouting groups, schools, churches, youth organisations and other community groups. Non-scouting organisers must contact the camp office directly to discuss availability, pricing and booking requirements. A liability insurance policy and signed hold harmless agreement are required for non-scout reservations. The facility is reserved exclusively for the group that hires it, providing a self-contained environment for organised events and residential activities.
