Civic Centre Uckfield

Civic Centre Uckfield is a flexible event and meeting venue in the heart of Uckfield, East Sussex. The centre offers a range of rooms for organisers planning conferences, training sessions, meetings, exhibitions, presentations, award dinners, performances, private parties and community gatherings.

The largest space is the Weald Hall, a versatile ground-floor hall suitable for staged events, concerts, plays, fairs, dinners, prize-giving ceremonies and larger presentations. It can accommodate up to 300 guests for a clear-floor layout, with theatre, cabaret, classroom, boardroom and exhibition arrangements also available. The hall can be hired with staging, sound equipment, lighting, a piano and other event facilities, while bar staff service can be arranged for suitable bookings.

Smaller spaces include the Council Chamber, Ashdown Room, Green Room, Oakleaf Room, Martlets Room and Nightingale Room. These provide practical settings for board meetings, interviews, workshops, training, exams, talks and smaller private functions. Smart screens and projectors are included in room hire charges when requested, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.

Luxfords Restaurant is located within the centre and can be hired for dinners, drinks receptions, canapé functions and other private events outside its normal daytime opening hours. Catering services are also available for room bookings, helping organisers arrange refreshments and food for meetings, conferences and celebrations.

The Civic Centre is accessible by ramp and lift, with accessible toilets and an induction loop in the Weald Hall. Its central location is close to Uckfield railway and bus stations, with nearby public parking. The team also manages bookings for additional local facilities, including Foresters Hall, Luxford Field and selected sports grounds.
