Just a damn good city game!
The group is split into different teams that trek through Ghent independently. Along the way, they are presented with challenging assignments through which they can collect points and clues. Some assignments require logical thinking, others a keen eye for detail, creativity, or above all, good teamwork.
Each team chooses its own route and pace. Those who play smart can solve more tasks within the same time and thus build up a lead.
Live battle between the teams
During the game, participants see how their team is doing via a live scoreboard. The other teams are also visible on the map. As a result, healthy competition quickly emerges: do we go for that extra challenge? Do we take a risk? Or do we try to decipher our current clues first?
Being fast helps, but a good strategy can be at least as important.
But there is more than winning.
Joint Mission adds a second layer to the classic competition between teams. In fact, all teams also work on a larger shared mission.
The clues gathered along the way bring the entire group closer to the solution. This creates an interesting dilemma: do you keep information to yourself to give your team an advantage, or do you share it with other teams so that everyone has a better chance of completing the joint mission on time?
The team with the most points has therefore not necessarily won everything.
Ghent as a playing field
Ghent is not a backdrop, but is truly part of the game. Teams move independently through the city, passing well-known spots, hidden corners, and locations along the way that they might otherwise simply walk past.
No guide telling you where to go and no classic city walk. You decide yourselves how to explore the city.
No awkward team building
No mandatory team chants, skits, or tasks that make adults feel twelve again. Joint Mission revolves around a real challenge that naturally draws participants into the game.
Collaboration is not imposed. During the mission, teams discover for themselves that communicating, exchanging information, and helping each other is sometimes the smartest strategy.
Plug-and-play
No complicated preparation. Participants play directly via their smartphones. The teams receive their mission and can get started.
As a result, Joint Mission is easy to combine with a meeting, lunch, staff day, or other corporate activity in Ghent.
The final
As time passes, the pressure rises. In the meantime, teams have gathered various clues and must decide how to use them.
In the final phase, everything comes together. The competition continues, but at the same time, the shared mission must be resolved before time runs out.
Only then does it become apparent which teams could not only play well, but also work well together.
