Kerkje Valkkoog is a distinctive historic venue in Sint Maarten, North Holland, offering an intimate setting for weddings, cultural gatherings and carefully curated private events. Set within an age-old church building, it gives organisers an alternative to a conventional function room, with original pews, period character and a calm village setting close to the West Frisian Omringdijk.

The venue is especially well suited to wedding ceremonies. Couples can make use of the church bell, and the lawn surrounding the building can be incorporated when weather permits. Up to 150 guests can be accommodated for a ceremony, including around 120 people seated in the authentic pews, with additional chairs available. The space is wheelchair accessible, making it welcoming for guests with differing mobility needs.

Beyond weddings, Kerkje Valkkoog can be hired for lectures, book launches, presentations, concerts and exhibitions. Its adaptable layout can create an inviting atmosphere for smaller audiences while also providing seating for larger talks and presentations. The building is known for its warm acoustics, making it particularly appealing for chamber music, piano recitals and other intimate live performances. An historic Adema organ, piano and sound system may be available by arrangement.
