An original wedding and party venue for those who want to celebrate outdoors : wedding receptions, garden parties, and corporate events in a lush botanical garden, featuring atmospheric party barns, an open kitchen, and a tropical veranda. Not a classic banquet hall, but a truly southern-style daytime celebration in nature.

De Letterhoeve is the dream project of Fredrik and Karen, together with about twenty enthusiastic staff members. Not a classic banquet hall, but outdoors in a lush botanical garden in Letterhoutem, where wedding celebrations feel like a mini-vacation.

Here, your guests enjoy world cuisine, a colorful beer pavilion, a unique wine bodega, a personalized ceremony under the African gazebo, live musicians, a talking booth in a real tipi, hidden garden rooms, atmospheric party barns, a large open kitchen, and a new tropical veranda where indoor and outdoor spaces effortlessly blend together.

We deliberately organize only ten wedding celebrations per year, from May to early October. This allows us to personally guide each party while simultaneously taking as many worries off your hands as possible. Not a standard formula, but a total concept where tranquility, warmth, and enjoyment take center stage.

At De Letterhoeve, you get married in the middle of a botanical garden. Not a venue with a small garden next to it, but a real southern garden full of exceptional plants, flowers, and trees, built up over nearly twenty years. Amidst palms, citrus trees, and hidden garden rooms, a holiday atmosphere emerges that you rarely find in Flanders.

The garden is the heart of the place, but in case of rain or chilly evenings, two atmospheric party barns, a large open kitchen, and a tropical veranda ensure that the Southern atmosphere continues seamlessly. Your guests will discover a beer pavilion, a wine bodega, freshly made lemonades, and international cuisine that complements the decor.

We deliberately organize only ten parties per year, from May to early October. As a result, we personally guide every wedding, from the first trial evening to the day itself. No standard formula, but a tailor-made total concept in which tranquility, warmth, and nature take center stage.
