Modkit live offers affordable multi-camera video production and live streaming for small events and non-profit organizations. Based in Leeuwarden, active throughout the Northern Netherlands (and even further for the right project).
As event organizers ourselves, we were looking for a good yet affordable solution for recording and streaming our own non-profit events. Hiring professional equipment was difficult with a small budget, and DIY solutions with webcams were not of sufficient quality... so we invested in our own video kit that offers a perfect balance in terms of price-quality ratio. We now deploy this for other organizations that simply want good video, without the price tag of 8K cinematic marvels that you don't see on social media anymore anyway.
Our mobile studio consists of remotely controlled OBSBOT PTZ cameras with AI tracking, a live video switcher for on-location production, and streaming hardware. We stream live to platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, or Zoom, and simultaneously across multiple platforms if desired. The entire recording is in 1080p quality and you will receive it digitally within 3 working days.
We focus on concerts, open mic nights, conferences, club nights, and cultural events. Our packages start at an all-in rate of €499 for 2 hours of recording time, including cameras, operator, and streaming capabilities. We offer a standard 35% discount for non-profits and cultural organizations.
Travel within 30 km of Leeuwarden is free. Beyond that, we charge €0.75 per km. For special projects, we also travel outside the Northern Netherlands.

Don’t sleep on this
I’ve worked adjacent with a number of live streaming systems in the past and this one by far is the most incredible kit.
Everything in one place with capabilities of wireless connection, clarity of seeing the scenes that could be used.
Being able to just go backstage and watch this in action is its own show.
We had a number of stationary cameras and mobile camera in action and this amazing bit of kit and the team made the event. Also they’re incredibly easy to work with and know the vision of the night.
