Project Vibez is an open-format DJ and music producer specializing in destination weddings, currently based in Antigua Guatemala. He is a fully bilingual DJ (English/Spanish), which is a useful tool in eliminating potential miscommunications when dealing with clients opting for an international experience when choosing a destination wedding venue. With various years of experience as a resident club and wedding DJ, he now utilizes his high-quality mixing skills to provide high-energy sets and a fun, lively environment on dance floors of any occasion and celebration.

Perfect DJ for a Destination Wedding
Project Vibez made our destination wedding in Antigua absolutely unforgettable!
Once the party started, He read the crowd perfectly, kept the dance floor packed, and had everyone up and moving. Even people who “don’t dance” were out there the whole night!

Andrew from Project Vibes was an incredible officiant, better than we could have imagined.
Our vision: To honor the decolonial perspectives, Anthony and I value and believe in, we emphasized to Andrew the importance of reducing/removing traditions, rituals, & rhetoric in wedding ceremonies influenced by westernized ideals.
And while we had a vision in mind …Andrew brought it to life! By weaving elements rooted in cosmology, nature, sacrifice, & ancestry our ceremony elicited the foundational human experience …love.
Apart from the emotional components 🥹 it’s important to mention his practical capabilities. He seamlessly incorporated our candle and salt rituals into the ceremony, pacing us and guiding us through our public vows. His enunciation, tone, and pace were notable - especially since not all speakers are equal.
(Disclaimer: we might sound like crunchy, barefoot, hippies - but we’re just your average millennials.)
To truly understand Andrew’s abilities this detailed description is warranted. For couples seeking a modern, non-denominational ceremony that feels romantic and fills the space with love, Andrew is the officiant for you!
We commend Andrew for his versatility, shifting from one role of entertainment to another in fast succession. Quickly after the ceremony the party transitioned from cocktail hour to the reception. Despite encountering some short lived, technical difficulties in the very beginning (perks of choosing a 300+ year old venue) Andrew remained composed and professional. He transitioned into the subsequent playlist flawlessly. The arrangement of music kept everyone excited and energetic. Once he threw on Punta, my mom took her shoes off, and my grandmother forgot she was 82! (Btw he is Garifuna from Honduras, iykyk 🫶🏼) The vibe was memorable. Closing out we requested some ::ahem:: “non wedding traditional” rap songs … LISTEN!!! When I tell you it was a bunch of millennials back in college on the dance floor!! It was a sight to see. Andrew killed it in the end!
My tip for couples: create an iterative playlist on Apple Music or Spotify and share it with him. When you update it - he can remain in the loop about your music preferences. Meet with him a few months before and leave space for additional meetings to make sure you are curating the ideal vibe. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Andrew is Awesome!
Such a great experience working with Project Vibez. He made the party! What's awesome about Andrew is that he took everything that we requested into account and then also used his own expertise to make it even better and to guide the party in the right direction - fun! Exceptional DJ & MC Experience
Andrew and his team did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding. From the very beginning, he was professional, communicative, and always willing to answer any questions or concerns we had.
One of our biggest priorities was finding someone who could beautifully capture both our Guatemalan and American cultures through the music, and Andrew exceeded our expectations. He truly understood the vibe we wanted and thoughtfully incorporated our playlist preferences, creating an incredible atmosphere throughout the night.
He also did a fantastic job emceeing the wedding and keeping the energy high with his team. We received so many compliments from our guests about the music and overall vibe.
We would absolutely recommend Andrew to anyone looking for a talented and reliable DJ, and we would gladly work with him and his team again!

Best Wedding Dj!
My fiancé and I were nervous about hiring a DJ because music was so important to us for our wedding day. We were told about Project Vibez by our wedding planner and immediately did our research. Liking what we saw and heard on social media, we decided to hire Project Vibez. Little did we know how amazing our night would be! First and most important the communication between us was a breath of fresh air. Having a destination wedding, communication can be difficult and that was not the case here. Any request I had and voiced (and I had many haha) Project Vibez heard and delivered with amazing response time! I felt heard and just stressed free working with him! The day of our wedding the delivery was speechless! The moment we started on the dance floor we did not step off until the night ended! That was all I wanted as a bride and it made my entire night. My guests kept going on about the DJ and the night did not disappoint. If you are unsure about a DJ you shouldn't be with Project Vibes. He will cater to you music needs to the BEST of his abilities and will make sure your night is taken care of. If I ever have another event he would be my first choice! The Barahona Wedding!!
I cannot say enough good things about project vibes! From our entrance into the reception, to the final song that matched our fireworks perfectly, the energy was there!!! The music flowed, everything from wedding anthems to songs he knew we loved!! They reached out months in advance to figure out our likes/dislikes, favorites, left no detail without thought. We made a same day decision to have our bride raised in a chair with a specific song playing. They made sure the moment was perfect and something we will never forget. Communication was perfect and the delivery was beyond expectation. Thank you so much for making our day that much more special!!!😀

From a heartfelt ceremony to an explosive dance floor!
If we had to describe Andrew and his team in one word, it would be: AMAZING!
From the very start of our planning process, we knew we were in good hands. Andrew was incredibly kind and listened carefully to our questions and concerns. He provided constant assurance, supported our crazy ideas, and showed just as much enthusiasm for our big day as us.
The music and ambiance were on point at every moment during the evening, even when we had to shuffle things at the last minute, Andrew and his team remained professional and ensured the night went smoothly. Most importantly, they kept the dance floor vibing all night long; his ability to read the room is incredible and gave us a wedding night full of great memories.
But not only is he an amazing DJ, Andrew was also our officiant. He took the time to craft a heartfelt ceremony and truly moved everyone. He made us cry and laugh, and our guests loved how he seamlessly incorporated both Spanish and English. It was inclusive and engaging without feeling long or repetitive. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Amazing Personalized Intro Song + bride and groom b2b
Andrew had created an amazing intro song for my wife and I to walk out to and blended Arabic music with house music in a seamless way for an unforgettable wedding night. The dance floor was full all night and announcements were made seamlessly. Very responsive and accommodated a back to back DJ session where my wife and I got to DJ as well (we are DJ's in Brooklyn), living out a moment we will never forget. He was the best and we are very grateful to have worked with him - I would recommend him to anyone looking for an MC/DJ for their event.

Luke & Anisa - Villa Bokeh - May 31, 2025
Andrew was an unbelievable DJ!! We gave him the challenge of integrating several genres - funk/soul, hip-hop, and traditional persian music - and he absolutely killed it. Our dancefloor was packed for 4 straight hours and his mixing and transitions were fire. Andrew was also a great partner through the process. He is an excellent communicator, he is creative, and he did everything he could to accommodate our requests to make our party fantastic! Would 100% recommend! 10/10! 5 stars!

The DJ of DJs
We hired Andrew to provide DJ and hosting services for our wedding in Antigua, Guatemala. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We were eagerly anticipating the moment he would play a bad song so we could indulge in the desserts, but unfortunately, we missed out on the desserts because the dance floor was hot the entire night. Andrew’s exceptional ability to read and engage with the diverse crowd made the night truly special and unforgettable.

Best wedding DJ!
I cannot get over how perfect the music at our wedding was. Project Vibez really hit all of our preferences and made the wedding vibe so fun. No one left the dance floor from our wedding. Even when people were going to grab a drink, he’d play the next song and they’d sprint back to the dance floor. We had SO much fun with him. One of the best wedding decisions we made!

Antigua Wedding
When our wedding planner asked us to name the three most important things for our wedding, our answer was simple: the DJ, the food and the drinks!
After attending many weddings, we’ve learned that the DJ can truly make or break the party. We may be a little older, but we still like to party as if we’re in our twenties, so our main request was clear: we wanted a club DJ, not a traditional wedding DJ.
During our meeting with Andrew, we explained exactly what we wanted. We aren’t difficult clients, we just knew the atmosphere we wanted to create and had high expectations. Our biggest request was for a DJ who could feel the crowd, not just himself LOL!
To say Andrew exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. He completely surpassed them! He played everything we requested and so much more. Once the party started, we danced all night. When it was time for our laser show, he outdid himself by choosing the perfect music to complement the show and make the moment unforgettable.
I cannot recommend Andrew enough. If you hire him for your wedding or event, you will not regret it and you definitely will not be disappointed. Thank you, Andrew, for keeping the dance floor alive and helping make our wedding celebration everything we hoped it would be!
