Urban Hunt is a unique city game where you discover the city in a special way. A charged smartphone and great company. That's all it takes to create a memorable team building event together with colleagues.

Escape room and geocaching combined

The group is split into teams. They try to finish as high as possible in the rankings by collecting points. During the game, which lasts 95 minutes, you are presented with 20 creative assignments. These are accompanied by drone footage, manipulated photos, mysterious audio clips, enigmatic videos, drawings of historical figures, Lego-reconstructed monuments and South African instructions.

Link with the city

During Urban Hunt it is not just about the points. After all, every question is linked to the city. Moreover, the assignments are accompanied by historical, cultural and special facts about the city. In addition to the tourist hotspots, you also get to know unknown but no less beautiful places.

Putting a heel on other teams

The number of points received for correctly solving an assignment is dynamic and depends on many factors such as the number of teams that have already solved the assignment correctly/incorrectly. The web application also contains a live scoreboard and shows the location of the other teams. All this creates the necessary tension. Strategy and shrewdness are just as important as having a bright mind.

Plug and play

No complicated downloads or technology. Simplicity and reliability were central to the development of Urban Hunt. Starting the game is child's play and only takes a few minutes. Moreover, nothing needs to be downloaded by colleagues.

Statistics

Afterwards you will receive an overview full of fascinating and fun statistics about the game. In addition to a graphical representation of the points progression, you can see which team won the sprint bomb award and the coffee chat award.

Urban Hunt is een uniek stadsspel waarbij men de stad op bijzondere wijze ontdekt. Een opgeladen smartphone en tof gezelschap. Meer is niet nodig om er samen met collega’s een memorabele teambuilding van te maken.

Escaperoom en geocaching gecombineerd

De groep wordt in teams opgesplitst. Zij proberen zo hoog mogelijk in het klassement te eindigen door punten te verzamelen. Tijdens het spel, dat 95 minuten duurt, krijgt men 20 creatieve opdrachten voorgeschoteld. Deze worden vergezeld van dronebeelden, gemanipuleerde foto's, mysterieuze geluidsfragmenten, raadselachtige video's, tekeningen van historische figuren, in lego nagebouwde monumenten en Zuid-Afrikaanse instructies.

Link met de stad

Tijdens Urban Hunt gaat het niet enkel om de punten. Elke vraag is immers gelinkt aan de stad. Bovendien worden de opdrachten vergezeld door historische, culturele en bijzondere weetjes over de stad. Naast de toeristische hotspots leert men ook onbekende maar niet minder mooie plaatsen kennen.

Andere teams een hak zetten

Het aantal punten die men ontvangt bij het correct oplossen van een opdracht is dynamisch en hangt af van tal van factoren zoals het aantal teams die de opdracht reeds correct/foutief oplosten. De webapplicatie bevat bovendien een live scorebord en toont de locatie van de andere teams. Dit alles zorgt voor de nodige spanning. Strategie en gewiekstheid zijn minstens even belangrijk als het hebben van een pientere geest.

Plug-and-play

Geen ingewikkelde downloads of technologie. Bij de ontwikkeling van Urban Hunt stond eenvoud en betrouwbaarheid centraal. Het spel starten is kinderspel en duurt slechts enkele minuten. Er hoeft bovendien niets gedownload te worden door de collega's.

Statistieken

Na afloop krijgt men een overzicht vol boeiende en ludieke statistieken over het spel. Naast een grafische weergave van het puntenverloop ziet men welk team de spurtbom-award en koffieklets-award in de wacht sleepte.
