What makes technology so expensive at online or hybrid events?

First of all, what's expensive? Or rather: what are the costs involved? If you know that, it's easy. Imagine holding an online event. The simplest way is for example via Zoom or MS Teams. That is almost free because you only need a computer, tablet or smartphone with a camera and internet. But what if you want or need to include several people. Then you quickly need several cameras. They can be operated by 1 man. But in any case, you already need 2 technicians and equipment. And if those people move a lot? Then operated cameras are necessary. So cameramen and 1 extra technician to keep an eye on the image of those camera (s). Oh and a sound and light ?. Are there many video instarts in your program? You also want someone who understands that. A moderator for chat or poll? Maybe a director, because it is already getting quite complex? So, depending on your program and the impact on the viewer, you quickly go from 1 to 8 people. And would you also like to have professionals for this so that the focus can remain on the content? This makes it 'expensive' or rather 'precious', but it also makes it 'valuable'. And then precious is relative again, right?
