I can rightly call Photoevents a fixed value in the event landscape. Since 1997 I have embraced every fledgling new technology, supplemented with self-developed software and deployed in a way that is accessible to the public.

In 1997 I introduced the photo calendar, digital photography on location, calendar ready on location.

In 2003, we were among the first, or the first company, to use wireless technology to stream photos directly from our photographers to print stations set up in different locations.

Nikon then introduced the D2H, which in combination with the WT-1 offered a more or less workable solution.

And in the years that followed, I developed many new concepts, often tailor-made for a company.

Recently, I developed the 360 Spin Booth in-house where a scan is made of one or more guests together, which can then be viewed a few minutes later via your own smartphone.

By writing the software myself, both on the client side and at the server level, I save a lot of money so that I can offer these services at competitive prices.

On the website you can see hundreds of examples of various actions.

Unfortunately, for more than 13 months we have not been able to enjoy what has never been a job for me, but the pure pleasure of being able to stand among the people and be able to deliver hundreds, even thousands of photos per hour, printed within seconds, sent to social media media, streamed to large screens, provided with codes for direct download, all while the recipient (your guest, your employee, your customer) always saw the final product with wide eyes and an even bigger smile.

It remains quiet for a while, but the first applications are slowly rolling in and some weekends in September are already unavailable. It seems that companies dare to reschedule their event.

Many have left our sector for new opportunities, a lot of talent has disappeared forever, but we, the survivors, are now very much looking forward to opening up our society without nonsense rules and without test streets.

Hopeful but cautious in my expectations,

Christian Titeca
