Built on the occasion of the first World Exhibition after World War II (expo58), the Atomium was not designed to survive the event. However, its uniqueness and its worldwide appearance ensured that this monument will survive us all.
His extensive and splendid renovation between 2003 and 2006 ensures that this icon in architecture will forever be part of the global heritage.
Often referred to as the most beautiful building in Belgium, the Atomium, with its architecture, panoramic views, exhibitions and panoramic restaurant, is the busiest tourist attraction in the Belgian capital (620,000 visitors / year).
Ideally located next to the Heysel Expo, the Atomium is easily accessible by car from the Ring (Exit Heysel Expo). Parking with more than 500 places at 50 meters from the building. Public transport takes you to Heysel metro station a few meters from the Atomium.
There are various rental formulas available for organizers: ranging from a half sphere (50m²) to the rental of the entire building (1500m²), always in the unique setting formed by the steel vaults.

Beautiful hall
In February we held our staff party in the Atomium. The contact person on site was very friendly and helpful. She made sure that everything was in tip-top order and everything went well the day itself.
We have used the Prigogine room and a guided tour. We had 3 guides who were all very enthusiastic and taught us a lot.
The room itself was beautifully decorated by the caterer. This caterer was on the list of proposed businesses. The food was delicious!
The location is therefore unique, which made our staff party complete!
Thank you very much to the staff at the Atomium for the impeccable service!

nlPrachtige zaal
In februari hebben we ons personeelsfeest gehouden in het Atomium. De contactpersoon ter plaatse was heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze heeft er voor gezorgd dat alles tiptop in orde was en alles goed verliep de dag zelf.
We hebben gebruik gemaakt van de zaal Prigogine en van een gegidste rondleiding. We hadden 3 gidsen die allemaal heel enthousiast waren en ons veel geleerd hebben.
De zaal zelf was prachtig aangekleed door de traiteur. Deze traiteur stond op de lijst van voorgestelde bedrijven. Het eten was heerlijk!
De locatie is dan ook uniek waardoor ons personeelsfeest af was!
Heel erg bedankt aan het personeel van het Atomium voor de onberispelijke service!
